Derek Mitchell
Law Clerk
Derek is originally from Santa Claus, Indiana and is currently a student at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Safety.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Derek attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and served as a police officer. He values the training and experiences he gained in law enforcement and emergency management and is excited to bring that background into his work with clients and those in need of our help.
Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Derek enjoys watching movies, reading, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports with his bulldog, Sarge
